NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY #3: TEN O'CLOCK FLOWER

What I will share to you now for my nature photography is a beautiful flower from my wife's garden that bloomed 10 O'clock in the morning today. It is called 10 o'clock flower or Portulaca. It's a small plant with many flowers. But to day I notice only one flower, most likely in the next few days it will produce more flowers.

I was attracted to its pink color, it is beautiful even this flower is tiny. I use a macro setting to make it looks pretty in the photo. The blur is natural from camera shot and no edit was made. The black background effect was made possible by the too much closeness of the lens to the subject. I used 18-55mm lens.

I hope you like my photography today. Your upvote and comment will be highly appreciated. This will inspire me to take more beautiful photos.

The pictures were taken by me using Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm lens.
